Chamber Summer Kickoff Expo

Yesterday, the Park City Chamber Bureau hosted their Summer Kickoff Expo at the Yard in Park City. Despite Mother Nature’s mood swings, the event was a great success with 40 local businesses showcasing their services for the summer. Boneyard and Wine Dive provided amazing food for the event and Top Shelf was pouring Old Town Cellars wines and Alpine Distilling signature cocktails along with Park City Brewery beer on tap.

Amongst the vendors showcased at the event, we found three that focused on green practices and food-related services and events for the summer.

Mindful Cuisine was present showcasing their summer event calendar. Chef Linda Elbert, created Mindful Cuisine to host cooking classes and cater private events in Park City. “An unexpected but welcome outcome of this venture into the world of food, farming, and concern about our food system was the creation of a community of cooks, gardeners, and food producers who enjoyed cooking and eating together. People came back again and again for the relationships and sense of belonging that developed around the stove and table. It was a bit magical. As I bring Mindful Cuisine to Park City, I hope to teach, inspire, and foster that sense of community once again.”

Park City Grocery Express, is a local eco-minded family-run business that believes in providing healthy, quality food through grocery delivery in Park City. Not only do they shop at all the great grocery store options in Park City, but they do it green! Park City Grocery Express only uses reusable bags to tote your groceries and provides recycling options for your waste.
