13 Local Businesses Making It Easier to Stay Healthy This Year

As the new year begins, nearly half of Americans resolve to improve their health and get in better shape, according to one survey. If this sounds like you, why not make 2019 the year you actually achieve your health and wellness goals?

Luckily, plenty of local businesses in Park City are ready and willing to make your health journey a little easier this year. Below we’ve listed our favorite spots to find products and services to help you get healthy, including healthy dishes, convenient, grab-and-go meals, fitness classes and outdoor gear.

Eat Well When You Eat Out

It’s hard to go wrong with Five5eeds’ selection of delicious and healthy dishes, like this smoothie bowl.

1. Five5eeds

The Australian-influenced eatery proves “healthy” can equal “delicious” with options such as smoothie bowls, chia seed pudding, hearty salads, avocado toast and more. (Here’s what we’re loving at Five5eeds lately.)

2. Twisted Fern

For lunch and dinner daily, chef Adam Ross serves creative dishes with an emphasis on real food, locally sourced from plants and animals. A fresh and delicious salad is featured in the header image above.

3. Wasatch Brew Pub

A brewery may not sound like the healthiest option, but we are big fans of the large, leafy salads you can order here. Top your salad with a protein like chicken, salmon or steak for a filling lunch or dinner.

4. Fairweather Natural Foods

This locally owned community market features a dine-in or take-out restaurant with organic vegan soups, salads and sandwiches, as well as an organic juice bar and selection of vitamins, herbs and supplements.

5. Deelicious PC

On a chilly winter night, nothing warms you up like a bowl of hot soup. Every month, Chef Dee prepares a variety of fresh and healthy soups that you can order for delivery right to your door.

6. Element Park City

Element’s kitchen and bakery offer a variety of freshly prepared meals and baked goods, so you can stock your fridge with tons of healthy, tasty options for lunch and dinner, without making much of an effort.

7. Park City Provisions by Riverhorse

Located at the top of Main Street, this restaurant-slash-café offers pre-made meals to-go as well as freshly prepared healthy options for breakfast and lunch like salads, sandwiches and soups. P.S. They’re now open for dinner with an all-new menu!
