Make Me: The Five5eeds Experience


If you are a connoisseur of coffee, Five5eeds is your new best friend. Its high quality  modular brewing system serves the Australian favorite, Coffee Mio, and people can’t get enough of the expertly made espresso. The accompanying food menu is just as exciting. The healthy cafe focuses on nourishing, flavorful dishes, crafted from the best local, seasonal produce.

There is a definitive nod to the famed foodie culture in Australia, from where the owners hail. Five5eeds offers a comfortable atmosphere where you can either grab a quick breakfast or lunch, or relax over your favorite drink. Don’t miss the hearty grain salads, but if it is a burger you crave, there is always that option too. While each dish is satisfying, nothing will leave you weighed down. There are plenty of grab-and-go options and a smoothie of the day, too, if you want something quick.

BRAISED SHORT RIB BENEDICT EGG: Poached Egg, Hollandaise, Granny Smith Apples, Apple Gastric

CHICKEN CONFIT BOWL: Labne, Toasted Hazelnuts, Rocket, Yukon Gold Potatoes, Shaved Parmesan Cheese

TIM TAM FRENCH TOAST: Brioche Bread, Whipped Nutella Marscapone, Fresh Berries, Tim Tam Dust

ROASTED CAULIFLOWER SALAD: Hummus, Sautéed Kale, Cauliflower, Chick Peas, Poached Egg, Pomegranate Molasses, Pomegranate Seeds

One of our favorites is the date shake. It’s a healthy, protein packed way to start your day in Park City. We have included the recipe below so if you can’t get to Five5eeds to fuel your day, make it at home!

Make Me: Twisted Fern Rosemary Lemon Vinaigrette


  • 3-inch rosemary sprig
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons champagne vinegar
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Using a torch, a lighter or a gas range, burn the rosemary until it is charred.
  2. Remove the leaves from the stem.
  3. Add to a blender along with the lemon juice, garlic, mustard and vinegar.
  4. Turn the blender on and slowly drizzle in the oil while the motor is running.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
