J & G Grill’s Black Truffle Pizza with Fontina Cheese

Ingredients

  • Pizza dough (use your favorite store-bought variety or make your own)
  • 2 cans truffle peelings
  • 150 milliliters white truffle oil
  • 1.5 ounces grated fontina cheese
  • Frisee
  • Your favorite vinaigrette
  • Chopped chives

Instructions

  1. After rolling out your dough, combine truffle peelings with white truffle oil in a food processor and process until finely ground.
  2. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.
  3. To assemble the pizza, spread 3 teaspoons of truffle sauce (reserve the rest for another use) on the dough.
  4. Sprinkle fontina cheese on top and bake until well crisped and blisters are a bit burnt.
  5. Cut into quarters and top center of pizza with a small amount of frisee dressing with your chosen dressing and chives.
