Even though it’s about to come to a close, Sundance has once again completely taken over. Crowded streets, hotels sold out and an hour long wait to eat everywhere. I will admit though, I love The Sundance Film Festival. It brings our small town so many business opportunities and new faces. I have been so privileged to work with many companies that come for Sundance doing hair and makeup. What a treat it is that we get to host such an event.
Even though Sundance is going on, many of us continue life as usual. The question is, where can you grab a quick and healthy lunch without waiting forever? There are a few hidden gems in town that many visitors may not know about, and one of my favorites is Fairweather Natural Foods Market. Not only do they have a wide variety of organic produce and products, but they also have a fantastic little cafe in the back. Fairweather has fresh sandwiches, salads, a juice bar and daily soups. Most of their fresh food can be made vegan to order, and they always have the best selection of vegan soups made daily and they are oh so tasty. Recently, I had a beet and lentil soup, and it turned out to be one of the best soups I have had in weeks.
I love supporting local businesses that are here for great causes. I know when I get lunch at Fairweather my food is fresh, local and organic. It is so nice to find a convenient place that I can find a diet-friendly meal. From the juice bar to the salads and soups, I never get bored with my lunch options. So if you need lunch in a hurry, pop in and check out Fairweather Foods.
