Banh mi. Ramen. It used to be these street food-style specialties were rare — or nonexistent — in Park City. But not anymore. The recently opened Momo Haiku offers these favorites and a full menu of Asian fusion cuisine in its funky, laid-back spot off Bonanza Drive. The nontraditional restaurant takes many different aspects of Asian cuisine and puts them together seamlessly into one menu. Nearly every item on the menu is homemade and deliciously prepared. The ramen broth is cooked for 16 hours. The pork for the banh mi is brined for 10 hours, then slow-cooked until it is falling-off-the-bone tender. With a price point that’s similar to any authentic noodle house, Momo Haiku also offers a great bang for your buck. If you can’t think of anything better than coming off the mountain for a hot bowl of noodles, then this is your place.
