Welcome to our new weekly series: Rise & Dine. Here, we round up our favorite breakfast finds all over the Park City area.
This week our Rise & Dine feature is all about Atticus Coffee, Books and Teahouse! This amazing spot on lower Main Street has been serving Park City since 2010. Not only do they prepare some of the best coffee and tea drinks, but they also make a fresh and tasty breakfast and lunch!
Their extensive drink menu has the perfect option for everyone to start their day off right. All of their coffee drinks are made with local Mill Creek Coffee Roasters brew. Their tea collection is by far the best in Park City! Offering over 65 variations of loose leaf organic teas that can be served iced or hot, as well as tasty tea drinks. My favorite is the London fog Latte. Also not to be missed on their drink menu are their many delicious and nutritious smoothies.
The popular trend of acai bowls has stuck around for good reason, it is a healthy and fresh way to start the day off. The acai superfood and honey bee protein bowl from Atticus are the perfect renditions of these bowls. The acai is served up with organic almond milk, acai berries, strawberries, goji berries, hemp seeds and banana topped with granola, chia seeds and fresh blueberries.
The breakfast food menu is served from 7 a.m.-3 p.m., and includes a great variation of items like bagels, buddha bowls, breakfast burritos and sandwiches. My personal favorite is their open-faced bagel sandwich: the sprout, with melted sharp white cheddar, sprouts and tomatoes, try it on an everything bagel, it’s delish!
So as we are in the mud and rainy season, it is the perfect time to visit and support local businesses. This family owned and operated business is just that, in addition to supporting many other great causes! We suggest heading to Atticus and grabbing a great book from their incredible selection, and depending on the weather, cozy up inside, or head outside to their beautiful patio overlooking Main Street!
