Saddle Up to Park City’s Shot Ski Event

With the snow this week, does that mean it’s time to break out the shot skis? We think so. And what better reason than for Park City’s 3rd annual Shot Ski Event? Hosted this year by the Park City Sunrise Rotary Club and High West Distillery, participants will line Historic Main Street on Saturday, shot skis in tow.shot ski

“We love the competitive nature of Park City locals, and we are determined to be back on top with a new shot ski record this year,” said Park City Sunrise Rotary Club member Connie Nelson. “And what better way to go bottoms up than with High West whiskey in our glasses?”

Shot skis are lined up, end to end, down Main Street. Last year, the shot ski totaled 476 skis, coming to 2,225 feet in length. This served 1,250 people. On Saturday, the event will invite 1,275 people to break the record set by Breckenridge in January 2018: 1,266 participants and 422 skis. This is High West’s first year as presenting sponsor. In this position, they’ll be topping off glasses with their own Double Rye.shot ski It’s $25 for a ticket, and this includes a spot on the shot ski, a souvenir shot glass and a token for one High West specialty drink at one of the many after-party locations. The official after-party site is at High West, along with Wasatch Brew Pub, OP Rockwell, No Name Saloon and O’Shucks. Tickets can be purchased HERE.shot ski
