Savor the Summit Roundup

Park City’s biggest outdoor dinner party, Savor the Summit, is returning in a few short weeks- bigger and better than ever!  With the wide variety of restaurants hosting a table, as well as the High West Spirit Garden and the Riverhorse Provisions party capping either end of Main Street, it has something for everyone!  The annual celebration, hosted by the non-profit Park City Area Restaurant Association (PCARA),  is one of the biggest events in Park City.  The PCARA doesn’t actually host the “Grand Table” running down Main Street, rather each restaurant participating is able to host their own section of the table, plus get to theme and create their own menu and price point-  allowing for many unique experiences for everyone!

New this year are efforts to create a more sustainable event, including PCARA hosting an extensive recycling program offered to all participating restaurants.  In addition, in collaboration with Park City Leadership Class 24’s mission to tackle food waste, they will be working with restaurants to educate and divert kitchen scraps and compostable goods to local compost company Wild Harvest Farms.  Post event they will then be able to have great numbers on what kind of waste is created from this kind of event that can then be recycled and repurposed, rather than going to the landfill.

This event always sells out very quickly at each location, but there are still some great options to choose from if you want to join in the amazing long table dinner party, set to the Wasatch mountain back drop!  Contact restaurants individually to check on the status of ticket availability.
