Season two of TeenChef Pro is in the works and will again feature one of Park City’s best chefs. Chef Ryker Brown of Powder Restaurant at Waldorf Astoria Park will join this season as a chef mentor.
TeenChef Pro guides 12 TeenChef hopefuls from a sea of Utah’s best teen chefs to compete for the title of TeenChef Pro Champion, a 4-year scholarship to Johnson & Wales University and to become America’s next great chef. The 12 TeenChefs will be mentored by three of Utah’s most talented Mentor Chefs.
In addition to Chef Ryker the other mentor chefs are Logen Crew of Current Fish & Oyster and Justin Shifflett of Stoneground Restaurant.
Last season was nominated for a whopping six Emmy Awards including a nomination for “Best Educational Program.” Park City was represented last year by Briar Handly executive chef of Handle.
The show is proud to be a 100 percent Utah crew, Utah created and Utah strong.
