Simply Italian Dining at Cena Ristorante


Award-winning Cena Ristorante and Lounge, open for the season seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, aprés and dinner, boasts the finest in delectable Italian dining, flawless service, and overall attention to detail. Located at Silver Lake Village in The Chateaux at Deer Valley, Cena Ristorante is an obvious choice for dinner for two or a family experience.

Chef Chris Wellmon has enhanced their already innovative menu with dishes inspired by a trip to Manhattan this summer experiencing cuisine in some of the best Italian restaurants in the U.S. Wellmon’s food philosophy has always been based on simplicity of ingredients, building upon flavors and textures from the beginning to the end using only the freshest products. During his travels, Wellmon found that real, authentic, Italian food is just that, pure and simple.

You will still find your Cena favorites on the winter menu like the bolognese, paired this year with a cheese-stuffed ravioli, broiled tomatoes and manchego. A must try and menu staple is the fried clams, which won Wellmon the Best in State award.

Joining the menu are wild boar and fontana cheese meatballs with housemade barbecue sauce as a starter. Try the grilled branzino, which is uniquely prepared by de-boning and marinating the fish from the inside, then trussed and grilled paired with a salmoriglio sauce and roasted carrots.

What would Wellmon order? Simply, the pan seared Wagyu steak with garlic, Parmesan and Yukon gold potatoes paired with the new arugula and parmesan salad dressed with lemon, olive oil and black pepper.

As always, save room for dessert! All made in-house, the deserts, following the theme of simple ingredients are decadent and full of flavor.

Breakfast: 7-10:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
Aprés in the Lounge with live music: 3- 5:30 p.m.
Dinner: 5:30- 10 p.m.
