St. Patrick’s Day in Park City

It doesn’t take the luck of the Irish to have a festive St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Park City. The Park City Area Restaurant Association has helped to round up all of the special events going on at restaurants near you here in town. Celebrate the Irish tradition by having a St. Patrick’s Day full with traditional foods and drinks, made especially easy with the many suggestions below. The rest of the week we round up some more St. Patty’s Day inspired fare, but we hope this helps you plan your celebrations ahead!

The Brass Tag- The raved-about restaurant at Deer Valley Resort will be serving Irish corned beef and vegetable pot pie, along with cabbage, Yukon Gold potatoes, heirloom carrots, celery and pearl onions in a whiskey glaze.

Deer Valley Grocery Café-  Enjoy root vegetable hash with two sunny-side up eggs, Niman Ranch ham, baby spinach and fresh herbs, plus the café’s beloved regular menu.

EBS Lounge-  This slope-side spot at Deer Valley Resort will be serving Irish bangers alongside roasted parsley marble potatoes, Wasatch ale bacon cheese sauce and a grilled baguette.

Empire Canyon Grill-  The ski lodge on Empire Mountain at Deer Valley Resort will be serving a pair of specials: house-made corned beef and cabbage with 44 Farms brisket, roasted fingerling potatoes, carrots and marble rye bread; and a Reuben sandwich with house-made corned beef, caraway sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, marble rye bread and Thousand Island dressing.  

Flanagan’s-  The Irish pub on Historic Main Street is pulling out all the stops this St. Patrick’s Day, its biggest event of the year. From 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., enjoy house-made corned beef and cabbage, green beer, giveaways and a special drink menu. 

Red Rock Brewing-  This buzzy brew-house at Red Rock Junction will be serving food and drink specials all day, along with its award-winning brews and a menu that boasts delicious classic pub fare and much more.

Snow Park Restaurant-  The ski lodge at the base of Deer Valley Resort is serving a raft of delicious specials: enjoy Irish lamb stew with a house-made buttermilk rosemary biscuit; carved roulade of lamb loin with orange cranberry chutney, fresh peas and colcannon made from mashed potatoes with shredded cabbage; and a house-made lamb burger with corned beef, pickled cabbage, green peppercorn bacon, Vermont white cheddar and Dijon mustard sauce. The Natural Buffet will also feature assorted Irish salads and toppings. 

Squatters and Wasatch Brew Pub-  This favorite spots for microbrews and pub fare will be serving traditional corned beef and cabbage. Wellied Irish Stout and McGreuh’s Dry Irish Stout will also be on tap.

Windy Ridge Cafe & Bakery-  Not only can you indulge in some St. Patrick’s Day inspired sweets on Thursday and Friday, plus traditional Irish Soda Bread on Friday, all at Windy Ridge Bakery, but the Cafe will be serving up some treats too!  Drink specials on Guinness, Jameson and Black & Tans, plus traditional Irish fare as specials too!
