The Grill at Pinebrook Now Serving Weekend Brunch

Being a former resident of Pinebrook and by former resident I mean I literally spent my entire childhood in that neighborhood, I can definitely say that that it is great to see what awesome businesses have gone into that space. The space I’m speaking of just so happens to be the field that I used to catch polliwogs from the pond and where I buried my pet guinea pig. It’s nostalgic alright, and seeing the way that it has been developed has been rather fun. Quarry Village is definitely an area that Pinebrook and Jeremy Ranch needs and with places like The Grill and O’Shucks, it really brings the restaurant vibe to life for those that live that 15 minutes outside of town. Now, why didn’t they just think of putting these businesses out there while I was growing up out there? So unfair. It’s okay guys, it’s worth the commute.

Now, with the addition of weekend brunch at The Grill, there really is no reason to drive into town at all! The menu is a bit of everything with a pizazz of unique twists and an almost international feel. From three different types of unique benedicts such as potato latke benedict, sage wrapped elk meatloaf benedict, and corned beef benedict to lightly breaded walleye pike and eggs, banana pancakes with a blueberry syrup, and then classics like a breakfast burrito, frittata, eggs any way and fresh fruit parfait for those seeking a lighter option. Oh and don’t worry, there’s even a Jack bison burger on the menu and you know you’ve woken up on a Saturday or Sunday morning immediately craving a burger. Of course it wouldn’t be a weekend brunch without a bloody Mary, mimosa or get classy and have yourself a glass of bubbly. Full bar is available at 11:30 a.m.

The atmosphere is casual and fun and a perfect place to gather with friends and family for a comforting brunch before or after your hike, bike ride or let’s be honest, after a late night. Brunch will be served only on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and will go from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. You know what you’re doing this weekend now, right? We’ll probably see you there.
