The Pickle Jar’s Sandwich Roundup

The Pickle Jar is a deli, but it is more than meets the rye. Ilese Jaffa brings more than two decades of culinary experience to The Pickle Jar’s menu. More than just sandwiches, Ilese is serving up salads, Jewish dishes such as potato latkes and matzo ball soup, salads, burgers, kosher hot dogs, chicken pot pie, chicken schnitzel, brisket, blintzes, breakfast served all day as well as a full bar making it a great place to après-ski. You can also order sliced corned beef, pastrami, kosher salami, roasted turkey and Swiss cheese by the pound, and The Pickle Jar also does deli catering. Yes, Ilese is keeping herself busy.

While there are so many intriguing dishes on the menu, I’m still starting off with exploring the sandwiches, because what goes better with a pickle than a sandwich? I rounded up my seven favorite sandwiches on the menu because that’s how many days there are in a week, and I prefer lunch in sandwich form.
