The St. Regis Deer Valley to Launch Signature Spice Blends

The St. Regis Deer Valley Resort will take flavor to new heights when the celebrated mountain resort launches three signature spice blends developed in partnership with renowned Chef Lior Lev Servarz of La Boîte, a biscuits and spice shop located in New York City. Inspiration for the flavors came from Park City’s natural surroundings, with the blends including notes of lavender, sage, honey, pepper and more. The exclusive blends will be available for a limited time and incorporated into cocktails and dishes at the acclaimed St. Regis Bar and the award-winning Jean-Georges Vongerichten-conceived restaurant J&G Grill. The blends will also be available for purchase exclusively at the hotel.

The unveiling is part of a larger celebration to take place the weekend of Park City’s annual “Savor the Summit,” an al fresco culinary event that takes center stage on Park City’s picturesque Main Street. In advance of the Savor the Summit main event, the resort will host an interactive spice blending class on Friday, June 16 led by Chef Lior, followed by a wine-pairing dinner in the resort’s famed 13,000-bottle J&G Wine Vault. J&G Grill Chef de Cuisine Rachel Wiener carefully developed the menu for the “Savor the Spice” wine dinner in tandem with Chef Lior, with each course incorporating a different spice. On the evening of Saturday, June 17, J&G Grill will join other notable eateries for the official Savor the Summit festivities on Main Street.

“It’s a privilege to partner with Chef Lior on this new project,” says Wiener. “The St. Regis spices capture the essence of Deer Valley, and they represent a new way for visitors to connect with the natural elements of the area. We only utilize seasonal ingredients of the highest quality in our food, and these new spice blends fit perfectly with our philosophy.”

The St. Regis Spices include:

  • Deer Valley – A sweet and subtly spicy blend of cocoa, honey and pepper elevates
    desserts, cocktails, and creates a Deer Valley worthy cup of hot cocoa.
  • Great Salt Lake – Capturing the soft and gentle tastes of pink salt along with fennel and
    dried lavender brings subtle floral notes to fish, vegetables, and chicken.
  • Wasatch Sage – Sage thrives in mountain habitats and its strongly aromatic and slight
    bitterness paired with juniper and pepper creates a blend for game, poultry, and sauces.
