Breakfast at Deer Valley Café:

To pre-fuel our adventure-packed day, we headed to Deer Valley Café, a charming lakeside restaurant and gourmet deli. While enjoying mountain views, we savored a delightful breakfast. The menu featured options such as the Wasatch Mountain Sandwich – a hearty combination of scrambled eggs, white cheddar cheese, maple bacon and more, all nestled within a bagel. We also enjoyed the DVC French Toast, topped with berry compote and powdered sugar, and the comforting Irish oatmeal, complete with almonds, cranberries and brown sugar.

Lunch at Royal Street Café:

When it was time for a midday refuel, we made our way to Royal Street Café, situated at the Silver Lake Lodge. This mid-mountain destination offered a variety of American and international cuisine. We indulged in the mini tuna poke tacos, featuring ahi tuna, mango salsa and poblano pesto in crispy wonton taco shells. The DVBLT sandwich with turkey breast, maple pepper bacon and tarragon aioli was a savory treat. We also loved the barbeque mushroom sandwich, with shredded mixed mushrooms, housemade barbecue sauce and jalapeño coleslaw.

Drinks to Savor:

Alongside our delectable lunch, we sampled refreshing beverages at Royal Street Café. The Sterling Express, a blend of El Jimador Reposado Tequila, Cointreau, lime, Utah honey syrup and a prosecco float, left us craving more. The Mountaintop Island, a combination of Plantation Rum, cappelletti, Dashfire allspice bitters and tropical flavors, transported us to paradise. Lastly, the blueberry mojito, crafted with Hamilton White Stash Rum, RSC mint lemonade and blueberries, was a delightful mix of flavors.

Dinner at The Brass Tag:

As the day ended, we sat down for a memorable dinner experience at The Brass Tag, located in the Lodges at Deer Valley. This restaurant served up fine Italian cuisine, including creative small plates, fresh salads and mouthwatering entrées. We enjoyed the Brass Tag artichoke dip and bacon wrapped dates, while the Peking duck ragu helped to re-fuel us after a long day on the mountain. To accompany our meal, we delighted in the Sbagliato di Tangerina, a refreshing blend of Cappelletti, Carpano Antica, tangerine juice, and Redentore Prosecco. Finally, we indulged in a delectable cookie skillet for dessert.
