Blind Dog’s Figgy McShane


  • 2 ounces bourbon, Bulleit or Buffalo Trace
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2-1 ounce Cointreau
  • 1 teaspoon high-quality fig preserves
  • Ice
  • Orange slice for garnish


  1. Place a rocks glass in the freezer to chill.
  2. Put ice in a cocktail shaker.
  3. Add all of the ingredients to a shaker and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker turns frosty.
  4. Pour into chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with an orange slice.
