What many people may not know about Deer Valley is that alongside the incredible food they serve, their beverage program is severely on point. Many of the resort’s bartenders have competed in Park City cocktail competitions and have won several first place trophies since the competition started in 2007. The drinks at Deer Valley are consistently delicious, making it very hard to stay out of the lodges during a ski day.
Deer Valley Grocery Cafe has become known for its delicious breakfast, lunch and early dinner menus that branch directly from Deer Valley’s iconic concept of serving amazing comfort food . Paninis, salads, sandwiches, burgers, desserts, take-away options, and one would be silly to overlook their cocktail menu.
One sip of this cocktail and we had to have the recipe. You would think that this rose margarita is a Valentine’s Day special at Deer Valley Grocery Cafe, but it honestly just so happened to work out that way! This is always on the menu and is a fantastic twist on a classic margarita. Call it girly, but fellas, don’t knock it ’til you try it.

- ½ ounce Cointreau
- 1 bottle Fentimans rose lemonade
- 1 teaspoon rose sugar crystals or pink sugar
- 1 candied rose petal

Shake it up and soak it up. Since the weather has been unseasonably warm lately, this would be the perfect cocktail to make and enjoy some of that amazing sunshine we’ve been getting.
