Freshie’s: Get Your Roll On

We don’t know about you guys, but we are pretty excited here at Dishing that Freshie’s Lobster Co. has found a permanent home in Park City. The expanded food truck business sticks to their mantra, Shore to Door in 24. Their newly opened doors, in Prospector, offers not only their shining star, their lobster roll, but now they offer a plethora of delicious and nutritious offerings.

Owners Ben and Lorin Smaha have been living in Park City for more than 11 years, and have been proud owners of the Freshie’s food truck for more than 9 years. They both hail from the New England area, and are very proud to provide jobs and business for not only Park City, but also for all of the waterfront businesses back in Maine that they get their fresh lobsters from.

Freshie’s continues to offer the freshest ingredients around, as well as supporting other local businesses. Be sure to try another taste of Maine, their delicious blueberry pie, made fresh daily by local purveyor Auntie Em’s. We also recommend other tasty New England treats like Maine Sarsaparilla Root Soda.

Step inside the light and inviting nautical-themed casual eatery Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Also to note, you can still special order live lobsters four days in advance from them for your next dinner or event. And, they sadly won’t be at the Farmers Market at the Canyons on Wednesdays, but don’t fret, the food truck everyone loves will return to Park Silly Sunday Market weekly next summer and, of course, daily at their amazing new location.

Some favorites:

Mainstay- Freshie’s Lobster Roll
Toasted New England hot dog bun, fresh lobster, mayo, hot butter and seasoning- our favorite is the Real Mainah (1/4 lb of lobster meat)

Maniac Salad
Mixed organic greens, blueberries, maple cayenne pecans, sea hive cheese, maple balsamic dressing and blueberry bbq chicken

Chicken Zoodle Soup
Organic bone broth, organic chicken, carrots, onion, zucchini noodles
