Hops on the Hill Summer Series Kicks off at Stein Eriksen Lodge

Last night, the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley kicked off its annual beloved event, the Hops on the Hill summer series. Every Tuesday evening, from now until August 27, guests can enjoy a selection of Chef Zane Holmquist’s delicious creations, all of which are paired with a beer from a local craft brewery. (Find the full schedule of upcoming breweries and bands here.)

Along with the tasty food and drink, the night also features live music from a local band, with the gorgeous mountains of Deer Valley Resort as a backdrop. Not so into beer? Just come with lawn chairs and stake out a spot on the lawn, while enjoying a la carte options from the outdoor grill. There’s also a full bar for those who prefer wine or liquor drinks.

We went to the inaugural Hops on the Hill event last night and enjoyed every single thing we tried, including the creative, tasty beers from Squatters and Shades breweries. The band, Mister Sister, added a fun, lively soundtrack to the evening, with a selection of classic and original songs.

Here are a few of our favorite highlights from the first Hops on the Hill event. We can’t wait to see what else they’ll have at this wonderful event the rest of the summer! Want to know about more foodie events at Deer Valley this summer? Check out this blog for the full rundown

Mister Sister entertained the crowd with original tunes and classic hits such as “Take Me Home, Country Roads” and “Wagon Wheel.”

Hops on the Hill Shrimp SaladThe perfect summer starter: A grilled shrimp and watermelon salad alongside fried okra with jalapeno aioli.
