Jafflz at Whole Foods

We sure hope by now that you have heard of the delicious little pockets know as Jafflz.  They are a nostalgic creation by Chef Meryl van der Merwe, essentially a toasted pocket Jaffle inspired by her childhood memories of her early years in Cape Town, South Africa, when they were a family outdoor favorite. Her extensive global travels while working as a private chef inspired Chef Meryl to take the original Jaffle to new heights, wrapping the world’s great cuisines inside this old-school classic from her roots. The global spectrum the menu covers includes cuisines such as Indian, African, Mexican, Vietnamese, Thai, New Orleans, Italian and more.

Since the early days of the Park Silly Market and their previous retail location, they have grown the business and you can now purchase in a variety of new ways. You can now purchase them wholesale, online, or most exciting is now at our Park City Whole Foods!  On a daily basis you can purchase these tasty pockets in their normal five varieties of flavors, right at the sandwich/deli counter for only $4.99.  The staff at Whole Foods said that the most popular by far has been the Day Break Jaffle – vegan, with tofu, yam, red peppers and onion.
