After our post last week on a mid-winter escape to Mexico, we have been jonesing for some delicious cocktails on a warm beach. Until the next time we can make it there, we think the thirst-quenching mojito from Baja Cantina, paired with tasty California-Mexican cuisine, will perfectly do the trick. They have kindly shared with all of us their recipe for the Mexican Mojito, and it may be the perfect addition to this snowy Tuesday.
Ingredients
- 1.25 ounces 1800 Silver Tequila
- .50 ounces Grand Marnier
- 6 Large Mint Leaves
- Fresh Lime Wedges
- Agave Nectar
- Sour Mix
- Club Soda
Instructions
- Muddle mint leaves, with 1 fresh lime wedge and agave nectar, amount to preferred sweet level
- Add Tequila and Grand Marnier
- Top with a splash of Sour Mix
- Fill glass with ice and fill to the top with Club Soda
- Stir together with a straw and finish with a lime wedge on the rim
