Copper Moose Farm is getting very close to having produce available at their farm stand. They anticipate opening around the first week of June, but you don’t have to wait to see the fresh goods because they will be hosting an open house from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the farm.
Once a year Copper Moose Farm opens their farm to the public for a behind-the-produce look at everything they do at the farm. All of their growers will be on hand, along with their beekeeper and solar experts to talk with visitors. You can take a self-guided tour of their gardens, talk with one of their staff about their heritage flock of chickens, watch Doug open up the beehive and find out from farm manager Daisy how they utilize their 3,500 square feet passive solar greenhouse.
While you’re checking out the farm, you can also grab a great lunch. CMF’s community food partners who will also be on hand selling their delicious creations including Red Bicycle Breadworks, Fat Moose Foods, Ritual Chocolate, fresh juices and more.
The open house is free and open to the public.
