Pack the Perfect Picnic for Deer Valley Concerts

0

Every summer, the hills of Deer Valley come alive with the sound of music. Multiple nights each week, bands ranging from folk to bluegrass to reggae put on fantastic shows in the Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. Wednesday nights are free for the community, while you can buy tickets for other shows. (Find the full lineup for the rest of the summer HERE.)

The only other thing you need for the perfect summer night: A wonderful picnic to share with friends and family as you enjoy the tunes. But it can be hard to put together a delicious spread from scratch. That’s why we’ve got you covered with a roundup of the best spots in town to fulfill all your picnic needs.

Park City Provisions

Provisions by RiverhorseThis deli, cafe and specialty food store on Main Street serves as one-stop shop for all your summer picnic needs. They not only have gourmet cheeses, meats, crackers and other picnic essentials, you can also order a fully made picnic basket ahead of time to pick up in time for the concert.

Fairweather Natural Foods

Whether you have someone in your crew with dietary restrictions, or you just want to keep it light and healthy, Fairweather, located off Iron Horse Drive, has the perfect picnic items for you. They have a fantastic selection of gluten-free and vegan snacks or baked goods, as well as great salads and sandwiches.

Element Kitchen

Park City’s “culinary concierge” offers a range of gourmet party platters that will seriously impress your group. Options include: charcuterie and cheese, smoked salmon platter, crudites and hummus, shrimp cocktail and more. They also have yummy gluten-free and vegan desserts. Order yours HERE.

Deer Valley Resort

Keeping it super convenient, Deer Valley Resort offers its own range of gourmet picnic baskets that you can pickup for the concert. Choose from entrees like curry chicken salad, braised beef short rib, quinoa cauliflower bites, and all the accompanying appetizers you can imagine. They also have children’s picnic options.

Vessel Kitchen

If you and your friends prefer to have your own made-to-order meals, that’s no problem thanks to Vessel’s easy online ordering. Simply choose what you want from their online menu (we highly recommend one of their new summer items) and stop by the Kimball Junction location to pick it up before showtime.

Old Town Cellars Wines

Of course, no picnic is complete is complete without a bottle of wine. Swing by this Main Street winery to pick up a bottle (or three) on your way up to Deer Valley. Our summer favorite is the Townie Rose.
