Can’t Miss Spring Lunch Specials

Spring skiing is currently in full swing. What does that mean? Well, you’ll probably find a handful of skiers and riders using their mountain pass to take a couple of runs before stopping for a long, sun-filled lunch at many of the outdoor dining decks. But if you’re someone who’d rather spend an afternoon avoiding the spring break crowds, we’ve compiled five great off-mountain lunch options that won’t break the bank.

Cafe Terigo

A great spot to do some people watching while lunching is grabbing a seat on Cafe Terigo’s gorgeous patio (when the weather allows). Dine on this week’s lunch special: a grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich with lemon basil aioli for $16.

Este Pizzeria

Arguably one of the best New York slices of pizza in town, Este Pizzeria offers a rotating weekly special. This week, snag two slices and a fountain soda for $7. Choose from cheese, pepperoni or their special slice: Cajun sausage Alfredo with roasted peppers.

The Spur Bar and Grill

The Spur Bar and Grill is a lively spot to grab some elevated bar food. Their daily lunch special includes a  cheeseburger with fries or buffalo wings for just $5 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

State Road Tavern

Venture off of Main Street to Kamas for lunch with a view. Visit  State Road Tavern at the base of the Uinta foothills for some of the best views in Utah. For a limited time, they are offering a $5 lunch menu on Saturdays from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. This special includes a soup and salad; cheeseburger; grilled cheese; roasted ham and Swiss; macaroni and cheese with bacon; or two tacos.

Tacos from the $5 Saturday lunch menu

Tekila Mexican Grill

If you’re in the mood for some authentic Mexican fare, stop into Tekila. Their current special, Taco Campechanos, sounds pretty mouthwatering. It’s carne asada and chorizo with a layer of cheese between two tortillas. Yum! And if you’re a vegetarian, they have many tasty options, including bean enchiladas, taco salad and the veggie gordo burrito (just to name a few).
