Park City’s Best Foodie Gifts

Mountain Town Olive Oil & Co store viewNow that the snow is falling and the Christmas lights hung, Park City is becoming alive with the spirit of Christmas. When thinking of what to get a neighbor, friend, or teacher for Christmas, there are a ton of wonderful gift ideas (foodie gift ideas) along Main Street. Walking up the stairs to Mountain Town Olive Oil Co., you will be welcomed with a tasting of a flavored olive oil, waking up your tastebuds to the endless varieties of oil and vinegars available for tasting before purchasing. They have done a wonderful job of packaging gifts, from spices and oils to honey and mixes.
Park City Mercantile granola

Walk a few shops down to Park City Mercantile and you will immediately start thinking of what you need for your house, instead of what you can get others for presents. The shelves are stacked with items from wooden spoons of every size to salts to cocktail mixers. You can even find some yummy granola packaged beautifully in a (reusable) glass container. There are cookies, healthy snacks, cookbooks and more for sale. And if you know someone who brews their own beer, this is a great place to find the fashionable growler with a very sturdy holder to bring a little flare to the campfire while sipping on a cold brew.

Root'd stemwareWho doesn’t love walking into Root’d? Talk about what you want your house to look and smell like?! After walking through the “living room” section, you will see a table full of amazing books and cookbooks. They range from local cookbooks to ones with recipes from Beds and Breakfasts to recipes using a specific ingredient throughout. On the back wall you will see their sparkling stemware, which is perfect to go along with a bottle of nice champagne for a gift to the host of next weekend’s holiday party.
Wish Holiday HostingI encourage you to drive down the road a few miles to Wish, located in Newpark Town Center. They have everything from holiday cards (which are hysterical) to plenty of holiday decor, especially for those who are hosting a holiday party. They have a little bit of everything at a great price point as well. Matter of fact, Tuesday night, go see for yourself. They have a special holiday event scheduled from 6-8 p.m., and will be serving champagne while offering dance classes. Yep, looks like at Wish you can have everything you wish for.

And don’t forget about Indigo Highway while in Newpark Town Center. I featured them last week in the DishingPC blog. If you didn’t read it, please click on the link and familiarize yourself with this lovely store. There’s no way you can leave empty handed.

Happy Shopping!!
