Rise & Dine: Squatters

Welcome to our new weekly series, Rise & Dine. Here, we round up our favorite breakfast finds all over the Park City area.

This week we are highlighting one of our solid favorites, Squatters!  Most people may not think of an amazing breakfast spot when they think brew pub, but Squatters has you covered for every meal of the day.  They serve breakfast daily until 2 p.m., so whether you are a late riser or love breaky any time of the day, they have exactly what you are looking for.

One of our favorite things about a breakfast here is the endless cup of locally roasted Millcreek Coffee.  Not only is it local, but it is rich and flavorful and will keep you fueled all day long.  They offer standard breakfast favorites, as well as unique flavors like their Chilaquiles, made with fresh local eggs scrambled with corn tortillas, and roasted red chile salsa, served with rice, black bean refritos and queso fresco.  Another great feature of their menu is the variety of options for those that are vegetarians or vegans.  They clearly indicate which items are either to make ordering a breeze.

If you feel up for a unique pairing, ask for one of their cold frothy famous beers.  Also, don’t forget to try their eye openers, available Saturdays and Sundays, including midday Mary, midday mimosa, and nooner for only $2!  Click here to check out their whole menu.

Now in its 12th year in a row, both pubs are kicking off their guilt-free dessert initiative during the month of April. 100% of proceeds from the sales of a $5 dessert will go to a local non-profit. This year’s recipient will be the local chapter of the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Salt Lake City.
