Savor the Summit Roundup

A new addition to the local favorite Savor the Summit Festival, held on Main Street every June, was Top Of Main, located between Riverhorse Provisions and Wasatch Brew Pub.
The vibe for attendees was an intimate setting, but the visual component was a large block party with what felt like the entire Park City community. At Top of Main, participants were free to roam about and grab a drink at the travel-trailer bar, provided Retro Rentals and staffed by Top Shelf  pouring Alpine Distilling signature drinks, Wasatch Brewery beers and Old Town Cellars Wines.
The dance floor, with DJ beats by Downstairs was playing infectious dance beats all night long. Open seating and tablescapes, created by Harvest Moon Events, were adorned with festive wildflowers and checked tablecloths.  The photo booth, provided by The Parker Premier had an assortment of fun/silly/festive  hats, sunglasses, masks, etc. It’s open-style layout was perfect for larger groups or a snap with your bestie.
The food was second to none, being provided by Riverhorse Provisions, The Brass Tag and Deer Valley Grocery Cafe. Platters of house smoked ribs and wild game poutine from Provisions were liberally passed around. Small plates, such as salmon poke from Brass Tag and delectable desserts by Deer Valley Grocery Cafe left none unsatisfied.
The rest of Main Street was chock-full of restaurants from top to bottom providing amazing menus that aimed to out-do themselves from years past. The table decorations make you wonder if there was a grand prize for the most elaborate table designs, like the hanging flowers at Cafe Terigo, complementing the artful food provided at each table.
Did you miss Savor the Summit this year? Put it on your calendar now for 2018. This is a not-to-miss festival in Park City.
