About Atticus:
Founded by Erica and Randy Winzeler, Atticus was inspired by Erica’s mother, Cassandra Schiavone, who owned a tea and book shop in New Mexico. The name Atticus is a nod the character Atticus Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird, symbolizing integrity, connection and community. Since opening in 2010, Atticus has become more than just a café; it is the local hub for everything, from coffee, local gifts, book browsing, a place to gather for school and work and of course, conversation.

Community Commitment:
Atticus has a long-standing tradition of giving back, donating 1.5% of its sales each month to local nonprofits. Over the years, this commitment has supported more than 220 Summit County organizations, including the Mountain Trails Foundation, the current nonprofit recipient.
