Living in a ski town, it’s common to hear of the après ski options. But what about the avant (or before)? Whether its snowing and you’re getting ready to shred the day away, or the sun is shining and you’re exploring the hundreds of miles of trails Park City has to offer, you need to fuel before head into the mountains.
Luckily, Park City is chock full of breakfast spots all over town! These options offer some spots you might not have tried alongside some familiar favorites as well. Whether you’re coming from Kimball or Deer Valley, or somewhere in between, you’re bound to find something to fit your tastebuds.
Kimball Junction
If you’re coming off of I-80 and your rumbling tummy cannot wait, stop in Kimball Junction for breakfast at one of these sit down options:
- Red Rock Brewing (Saturday’s and Sunday’s)
- Hearth and Hill (Brunch offered on Sunday’s)
- Sterling Steak and Lounge (Saturday’s and Sunday’s)
- Bartolo’s Park City

Canyons Village
If you’re starting your day at the Canyons Village base are, make sure to stop at any of the following to fuel your mountain adventure:
- Drafts Burger Bar
- Après Pendry
- Escala Provisions Company Restaurant and Bar
- Powder Restaurant at Waldorf Astoria
- Murdock’s Cafe
With both sit-down and grab and go options available, these tasty spots will not disappoint.
Prospector
The Prospector neighborhood is full of up-and-coming restaurants, and doesn’t shy away from breakfast either. Sit down options with egg sandwiches, avocado toast, fresh orange juice, mimosas and more include:
Go a little further up Park Avenue and you’ll find Lucky Ones Coffee, another local favorite. Further down Kearns, you’ll find Boneyard Saloon (open on Saturday and Sunday mornings), the brand new Stacked Sandwich Co., and High Vibes Juicery.
Main Street and Deer Valley
Though full of so many obvious options, breakfast in town also offers some hidden gems:

Once you’re fueled up, you can easily access the Park City base or Deer Valley base via public transit, ready to start the day.
