Fall season is in full swing in Park City, and there are several wine-centric events to check out in the coming weeks!
Autumn Tasting Menu
Powder at Waldorf Astoria Park City presents its Autumn Tasting Menu, available evenings through November. Enjoy three seasonal courses, with duck breast, striped bass and rack of lamb offered as the entrees. Each course has a hand-chosen wine pairing.
Park City Wine Festival
The Park City Wine Festival returns to Canyons Village from October 5 – 7. Over 100 wines from France to California, Oregon and Washington will be featured at the Grand Tastings. The three-day weekend includes wine lunches and dinners all over town, as well as a paired wine hike at Deer Valley.
Amuse Bouche Wine Dinner
The Lodge at Blue Sky will host an Amuse Bouche Wine Dinner on October 6. This is a rare opportunity to sample limited edition Amuse Bouche, a Pomerol-style wine from Napa Valley. Of course, the food pairings will not disappoint!
DAOU Wine Dinner
Main Street’s newest restaurant, Kaneo, presents DAOU Wine Dinners on October 6 and 7. Join the President of DAOU Vineyards for a Mediterranean-inspired five-course dinner paired with award-winning DAOU wines.
Wine and Jazz
Old Town Cellars welcomes G. Brown’s Jazz Quintet from 7-10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28. Sip top-shelf spirits, local brews or a wine flight from their extensive collection while enjoying live music.
Haunted Mines and Wines Tour
Join Fox School of Wine on Friday, Oct. 27 for a Haunted Mines and Wines Tour. Your ticket includes five 2-oz wine samples, paired snacks, a donation to the Park City Museum and a guided tour of Park City’s mining history, complete with ghost stories!
DJ Wine Dinner
Butcher’s Chop House will host a DJ Wine Dinner in their yurt on November 4. This spin on a traditional wine dinner will feature five courses with wine pairings from France and Italy, while DJ Marty Paws spins tunes. On-site sommeliers and guest speakers are also part of this fun event.
