New Year’s Eve: Ways to Ring In 2020

You may be in full swing of Christmas and soon-to-start Hanukkah celebrations, but New Year’s parties are right around the corner and its time to plan! Start off 2020 with some delicious food and fun celebrations with some of these special events local restaurants are hosting. 

Yuta at The Lodge at Blue Sky

Get off the beaten path and make your way up to The Lodge at Blue Sky’s Yuta restaurant. Yuta is kicking up the New Year’s celebrating with champagne sabering, caviar and oysters at 4 p.m. The restaurant will be offering items off their signature menu from 5:30-9:30 p.m., as well as a specialty six-course menu. Powder at the Waldorf-Astoria

Pair dinner at Powder with the fireworks show at 7:30 p.m. at Canyon Village. Powder is offering a four-course prix fixe dinner including items like thyme-crusted tuna, herb marinated lamb and squab breast with foie gras. Cost is $95 for adults, $155 with wine pairing and $47 for children ages 4-12. Make reservations on Open Table. 

Riverhorse On Main

Main Street’s iconic restaurant will be hosting party to bring in the New Year that includes five course meal, individual table booking for entire evening, live music and a midnight champagne toast. Event starts at 7 p.m. and cost is $385 per person.  The event is currently sold out but they are still accepting entries to their waitlist. Email events@riverhorseparkcity.com to be added.

Courchevel Bistro 

Celebrate on lower Main with European-French cuisine served up by Chef Clement and his talented team. Courchevel is offering two dining options: a four-course prix fixe at 6 p.m. that runs at $85 or $145 per person with wine pairing. The second option is a six-course prix fixe menu at 9 p.m., which is $224 or $300 per person with wine pairing. Make reservations on Open Table.

tupelo

Tupelo’s dishes are derived from stories of each chef’s wide variety of experience. Their New Year’s Eve five-course prix fixe will be a food journey of all these experiences. Menu items include: Riesling butter king crab, pan-roasted wagyu, Maine diver scallops and Champagne creme brulee dessert.  Cost is $185 per person, or $285 with wine pairing. Versante Hearth + Bar 

Versante will be serving their classic menu, accompanied by a few specials by Chef Canyon. The restaurant is serving dinner until 11 p.m. and inviting guests to stay and ring in the New Year while their DJ spins tunes until 1 a.m. No cover. Call (435) 604-4012 to make reservations. 

The Cabin

After dinner, head to the The Cabin and go back in time to the prohibition era with a Roaring 20’s-themed celebration for those who are 21 years old and older. Music by Pour and DJ Funkee Boss. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 per person. Purchase tickets on The Cabin’s website

Park City Mountain Resort 

Celebrate with the whole family at Park City Mountain Resort’s New Year’s Eve celebrations. The party includes dinner from 7:30-9:30 p.m., music and dancing from 7:30 p.m.- 1:00 a.m. and a balloon drop at midnight. Cost is $129 per adult and $59 for kids age 12 and under.
