Last Fling Before the Ring: a Park City Bachelorette Weekend!

Summer wedding season is upon us, and with that comes bachelorette (and bachelor) parties! With beautiful scenery, plentiful hikes, luxurious hotels and spas, plus world-class dining, Park City has become a bachelorette destination. If you’re planning a summer gathering in Park City, we’ve got everything you need to build a fabulous food-focused itinerary.

Girls Getaway to Park City

When planning your trip, the first decision is where to stay. Fortunately, there are endless options for lodging, from private home rentals to luxury hotels and residences. A few of our favorite places to host guests include:

  • Black Rock Mountain Resort is one of the newer hotels in the area and it has it all: views, pool, gym and a great restaurant. Overlooking the Jordanelle Reservoir, this hotel offers a serene mountainside retreat with easy access to Old Town, yet far enough away to remain peaceful.
  • Pendry Park City is a modern luxury property within walking distance to all the activities of Canyons Village. Be sure to check the Canyons Village calendar to see what’s happening. The rooftop Pool House is perfect for year-round apres with a killer view, drinks and snacks.
  • St. Regis Deer Valley is the ultimate luxury mountain getaway. With beautifully appointed rooms and residences, it also has a convenient complimentary shuttle to Park City Main Street.

Bachelorette Weekend Day 1 Suggestions:

Arrive at your hotel and get settled in. When it’s time for dinner, head over to 710 Bodega on Main Street. The tapas restaurant is great for groups; the more people, the more dishes you get to try! My personal favorites are the brie bites and the crab-stuffed piquillo peppers.

After dinner, check out Park City Social Aid & Pleasure Club. Enjoy the plush seating and craft cocktails made Alpine Distilling spirts, along with sweet sides like apple pie.

Bachelorette Weekend Day 2:

Start your morning with a pastry and coffee or tea at Atticus Coffee & Teahouse on Main Street; the selection of tea and coffee drinks is unmatched (the frozen chai is a favorite for a hot day). After a morning of shopping on Main Street, head over to Deer Valley Cafe for lunch and then to rent paddleboards for a spin on the ponds. They have live music on Thursdays!

In the afternoon, hike or take the chairlift up to the spa at Stein Eriksen for treatments. Spend the rest of the day soaking up the sun at their heated pools and hot tubs, which all spa guests have access to.

End your day with a decadent French dinner at Courchevel. The patio is situated in a prime location for people-watching in Old Town! In half a dozen visits, I’ve never been disappointed with anything at Courchevel; it’s always in my top Main Street recommendations.

Bachelorette Weekend Day 3

Hit up the exquisite Sunday summer brunch at the St. Regis Brasserie 7452. This lavish buffet includes seafood and carving stations, salads, pastries and a delicious cocktail menu. In addition to the buffet, à la carte items like chicken and waffles are available. After this spread, you’ll be fueled up for a day of travel!

Don’t forget your welcome gifts or thank you gifts! Made in Park City has the best selection of locally-made products that will help you remember your trip long after the wedding bells have rung. You can pre-order gift baskets online or even have them shipped home after your Park City trip. Ritual Chocolate and Mountain Town Olive Oil make for great souvenirs, and you can include them in your Made in Park City gift baskets, too!
