Let’s taco bout how we’re going to shell-ebrate Cinco de Mayo!
Town is quiet, restaurants are starting to open back up after a break for shoulder season- it’s the perfect time to hit the normally jammin’ Main Street to play for the Mexican holiday.
Tekila Mexican Grill & Cantina
Tekila Mexican Grill & Cantina, located on top of Main, will be serving their authentic Mexican dishes like chicken tinga tacos and an on special $9.99 chili Verde burrito. Tekila is offering a $5 draft beer and Tequila combo, and you must try their Margarita Tanteo: tanteo jalapeno-infused tequila, house-made margarita mix, organic agave, Gran Marnier and jalapeno salt. The restaurant and bar will also have live music all weekend.
Crystal Park Cantina
Crystal Park Cantina, located at 412 Main Street, will be offering a $5 Exotico Margarita made with all-natural margarita mix and gently pasteurized lemon, lime and orange juices. Their simple syrups are also all house-made with organic cane sugars. Or, try the sangria margarita: a fusion of Spanish and Mexican traditional cocktails.
Share the Cantina Nachos: corn tortilla chips, tomatillo alfredo, jalapeno-cilantro cheese and organic chorizo. Order the Molcajete bowl: steak, shrimp and roasted chicken, scallion, jalapeno, bell pepper, garlic, avocado, chimichurri sauce, with saffron rice and pinto beans.
Happy Cinco De Drinko!
