Here are some ideas to take in some sunshine and enjoy all Park City has to offer this April and May!
Spring may be a funny concept for those of us that have been here a while…but the season of warm weather and sunshine is starting to sprinkle in between a few random bursts of snow!
When you’ve had your fill of spring skiing, or your local resort finally closed its doors, or you’re just trying to summon the sunshine, fret not! There are plenty of activities to do around town while you wait for the trails to dry out for summer activities…
Bike Ride to Lunch
When the sun comes out, you may get the itch to pull out your bike (or even just throw on some sneakers and walk!) and take a tour around town. Why not make an afternoon out of it and get some lunch as well? Freshie’s Lobster Co. in Prospector is a great mid-way point no matter which part of town you’re coming from. And with a line up of lobster rolls, clam chowder and more, you’re sure to get into the spring spirit.
Main Street Sidewalk Shopping
Get your steps in, and your elevation up, by walking around Main Street. Add in some fun sidewalk shopping while you’re at it! Chammomile, New West Knife Works and OC Tanner will all be open through mud season and waiting for clients with open arms.
Spring into Fit
Start your day off with a workout class, followed by fresh juice at High Vibes Juicery. No feeling beats getting up and getting a good sweat, then refueling with something healthy. PC Yoga Collective, Pure Barre, Peak45, Salt Pilates and Orange Theory are all open this spring. And High Vibes Juicery will have no shortage of juice at both their Prospector and Fresh Market locations.
Kick It in Kimball
Did you know Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter has an indoor mini golf course? Well, you do now! Until the end of the month you can have some pizza at Big Daddy’s Pizza or some burgers at Hearth and Hill, then head over for some fun with family and friends inside the EcoCenter. You may even catch a view of the snow before it all finally melts!
