From Kimball Junction to Deer Valley, you can find booze, blues and food.

There’s no better way to enjoy summer in Park City than listening to live music and sampling the best comestibles this mountain town has to offer. There are a variety of outstanding live music options happening regularly all through the sunny months – in all corners of Park City! Here are a few ways to get your feet tapping:

Kimball Junction

Father-son duo Lance and Jackson Sterling are bringing their extensive entertainment venue experience to the new Sterling Steak and Lounge in the Redstone Shopping Center. Lance previously helped expand the House Of Blues in Las Vegas from three venues to ten. His son Jackson grew up in the restaurant industry, and they share a passion for good food, music and family. The New York-style steakhouse brings an elevated, classic menu to Park City, including starters such as as crab cakes, bleu cheese wedge salad and french onion soup. Prime cuts include porterhouse, filet mignon with lobster tails, scallops or shrimp and tomahawk steak, with sides like garlic mashed potatoes, roasted pancetta Brussels and asparagus. Your top-notch meal ends with a decadent dessert like chocolate lava cake, crème brûlée or tiramisu. There is an exciting live music lineup, with a house band that plays 70s and 80s rock, and upcoming featured guests such as Terence Hansen Trio (Sunday, July 24), Joyce From The Future (Friday, July 29) and Telluride Meltdown (Saturday, July 30). See here for a full rundown of upcoming shows.

The Spur Bar & Grill is one of our favorite Park City watering holes. With live music every night, three bars, and amazing open deck overlooking Old Town, you can sit and enjoy the view year-round. The Spur’s upscale rustic modern theme keeps us coming back from mid-day through late-night hours. The live music held every night at The Spur begins at 7pm and is sometimes available all the way until midnight. No matter what time of year The Spur does a great job hosting local, regional, and national music acts with genres ranging from rock, country, Celtic, folk, bluegrass, cover bands, blues and singer/songwriters. Don’t miss the great selection of wine and beer on tap, and amazing signature cocktails made from local spirits!
