Warm Up With S’mores and Cocoa

S’mores are the ski season treat, complementarily served at most of the local hotels. Sure, locals love sneaking in and taking part in the tradition, but you don’t have to go that route. Here are some Park City options where you are welcome to indulge:

Hyatt Centric Park City

If you’re in Canyons Village, head to the Hyatt Centric Park City, just off the Sunrise Lift. Grab a s’mores kit from the Market, and head out to their firepit to roast your marshmallows. The kits are $16 and come with a full pack of graham crackers, a Hershey’s chocolate bar, and marshmallows that have been sealed for freshness. Sticks are also included. If you prefer a fancier version, step inside and order the s’mores flatbread at epc. It’s made with Nutella!

Snowshoe to S’mores with All Seasons Adventures

A fun activity for the whole family is the Snowshoe to S’mores tour from All Seasons Adventures. Typically kicking off around mid-December, this family-friendly activity meets at Deer Valley Lot Five. Snowshoeing equipment is provided, and a short hike brings you to the Deer Valley Gazebo, where s’mores and cocoa await. Once there is enough snow, there are daily departures each afternoon at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. A 48-hour notice is required for booking.

Snowglobe Stroll & Cocoa Mugs

If you’d rather ward off the winter chill with a hot mug of cocoa, Red Banjo Pizza is bringing back its commemorative cocoa mugs this season to coincide with the Snow Globe Stroll. You can purchase a special mug for $9.50, or a mug filled with hot cocoa for $11. This is the perfect accompaniment to a snow globe stroll. The globes and the mugs, are available through Jan. 5. Don’t forget to bring a phone along; you can scan the QR codes at each globe and enter to win prizes.
