Back to School Time Savers

It’s hard getting into a back-to-school routine after the leisurely days of summer. Between sending kids off to college and getting younger kids acclimated to a new routine, sports practice, concerts and homework, fall can be hectic. There’s no shame in getting help from local businesses; that’s what they are here for!

Start by getting your house in order and streamline your morning routine. The ladies at Get Organized are experts in home organization. Whether you are downsizing, upsizing, or repurposing old bedrooms, they can help! Their team can create a personalized organization flow for your home by sorting, decluttering and purging things you no longer need. A one-hour consultation is complimentary.

Mail-order meal kits are quite popular for busy families, but you still have to prepare the meals. That can be a fun family bonding activity, but not everyone has time for that, and we’re all about supporting local businesses. We’re lucky to have local options like Luna’s Kitchen, the only gluten-free kitchen and bakery in Park City.  Luna’s offers single-serve and family-style meals that are oven-ready. Just hop on their website and select a pickup time; choose from salads, flatbreads, and dinners like meatloaf, stuffed bell peppers and lasagna.

For the nights when you need to eat on the go, Park City has fantastic takeout options as well. Big Daddy’s Pizza is fast, easy, and open until 9 p.m. on the weekends. Lunch specials and daily deals make this a super affordable dinner option.

Freshie’s Lobster is another great takeout plan. With online ordering, you can be in and out in minutes, with fresh lobster to go! They offer deconstructed lobster roll packs with everything you need to make their award-winning lobster rolls at home. Healthier choices include lobster lettuce cups and tasty salads. Freshie’s “Shore to Door in 24” seafood is worth the splurge!
