Now through April 10, you can enjoy a cozy afternoon on the patio for apres at The Nelson Cottage by High West. Every Friday through Sunday, from 1-4 p.m., enjoy specialty cocktails and shared plates, surrounded by the warmth of heaters and fire pits, perfect for ending a day on the slopes.
Ski down, skip the lines at the Saloon and come to the Nelson Cottage for this apres experience. It’s the hidden gem. It’s our elevated fine dining experience.

Enjoy a variety of speciality cocktails and winter warmers made with local High West libations. Choose from a signature old fashioned, made with High West Rendezvous rye whiskey, the High West lemonade, the Dead Man’s Boots, a combination of American Prairie bourbon, Don Julio reposado, lime, and ginger beer. The Incendiary is served hot, and made with High West Double Rye, elderberry, honey, lemon, ginger, and bitters. The Idle Hour is made with Sugar House vodka, Aperol, Cointreau, grapefruit and champagne, and The Lickety Split, has flavors of High West Double Rye, Ron Zacapa, sweet vermouth, apple brandy and orange. The Nelson Cottage also offers a variety of beer and wine.
Enjoy shared plates of High West Manhattan fondue, local cheese and charcuterie, caviar, and Bavarian style pretzels, on the deck with family and friends. The four cheese fondue comes served with Granny Smith apples, Crumb Brothers rye, heirloom potatoes, and is finished with barrel aged High West Manhattan. The charcuterie board is filled with High West whiskey salami, creminelli calabrese and prosciutto rosemary pork rillete, High West ash and barley cheddar, Pt. Reyes blue cheese, Park City Creamery Silver Queen goat cheese, ash bourbon and rosemary stone fruits, and Crumb Brothers seeded rye, with High West Saloon mustard and house pickles. The Kaluga premier caviar comes served with hard boiled egg, chive, shallot, creme fraiche and Yukon Gold sea salt potato chips, and the house-made Bavarian style pretzel is accompanied by High West Rendezvous Rye beer cheese, house pickles and Saloon Mustard.

The Nelson Cottage is one of three locations owned by High West Distillery in Park City. The Cottage will close April 10 for the winter season and reopen in June with a prix-fixe dinner menu and whiskey pairing. Walk-ins are welcome for patio dining. You must be 21 to enter.
Get your last apres. Soak up a day on the slopes and in the sun at the Nelson Cottage for the last couple weeks.
