Explore Heber Valley’s Growing Dining Scene

A short twenty minute drive from Park City lies the Heber Valley. With vast farmlands and gorgeous views of Mount Timpanogos, this Swiss-themed town is breathtaking. Both Heber City and Midway lie in this valley, and recently, many delicious restaurants have been popping up in both towns. There are places for everyone, whether you want to grab a quick bite before heading over to Dutch Hollow to go mountain biking, or have a sit down dinner with friends, there’s a restaurant for everyone. Here are some of our favorites.

For a quick and easy bite in the morning before heading out for the day, The Bagel Den is a must. People say NYC bagels are special because of the water, which is exactly why they fly their dough in from NYC to make their delicious chewy bagels. Grab one on your way to the trails or work.

The perfect place to bring kids, and probably the most iconic dining destination in Heber Valley, Dairy Keen – Home of the Train, is delicious, fun and affordable. With 28 gold medals in 15 years for burgers, milkshakes and fast food, you must try Dairy Keen. They even have a gluten-free menu!

Another kid friendly place with the best onion rings in town is Spin Cafe. They make everything from scratch, including their small batch gelato. They have daily specials for lunch and dinner. We love the fall-apart brisket that is hickory-smoked for 12 hours that is a special for Friday lunch and Friday and Saturday dinner.

After a sweaty bike ride or hike, you probably want something tasty and a cold one. The Corner Restaurant and Lola’s Artisan Street Kitchen have both of those things, and are bike friendly.

The Corner Restaurant has an amazing patio that looks over the valley. There’s nothing better than enjoying your dinner al fresco. And if you sit inside, you’ll still get the view with their floor-to-ceiling windows. Don’t miss their house made pastas or homemade desserts, especially their coconut cream pie.

If you want something more casual, Lola’s is the place to be. Order at the counter and then head to one of their outdoor tables. Get their fried chicken sandwich served on their housemade bun; it’s out of this world. And if you’re lucky to be there on a day they are serving their famous chile relleno burrito, don’t think, get it. Also, they are now serving beer and wine!

Looking for something a bit more charming and romantic? The Blue Boar Inn is all of that and more. This elegant European-styled bed and breakfast also serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Think cinnamon swirl brioche french toast, wild boar swedish meatballs and the spaetzle of your dreams. Stay for the weekend or just pop by for a meal. You won’t be disappointed.
