Fun Festivities for the Fourth

The Fourth of July is when Park City officially gets cooking for the summer. Seemingly endless bluebird days capped off by cool mountain nights make for the perfect weather to participate in the fun festivities of the fourth from one end of the valley to the other.

July 3rd – The Canyons Village

Why celebrate one day when you can celebrate for two? Start your July 4th holiday one day early with FREE live music, kid-friendly activities and a grand fireworks display. Pack up a blanket and a picnic basket to lay out on the lawn and enjoy the day with friends and family here at Canyons Village at Park City. The main show starts with an outdoor concert on the Canyons Village stage and finishes with a fireworks show!

Hyatt Centric

Join Hyatt Centric at The Canyons Village for an afternoon of food and fun while waiting for the fireworks at dusk. From 5-9 p.m., enjoy a barbecue for the whole family. It is $39.95 per person or $18 for those 12 and under, hang out in the gorgeous Escala Provisions Company dining room or on the deck overlooking The Canyons Village. Complimentary valet. July 4th – Park City

Start the day off with a full day of activities, including pancake breakfast at City Park starting at 7 a.m., Cole Sport 5k Fun Run at 8 a.m. (preregistration required), see the famous Park City parade down Main St. at 11 a.m., kids’ activities, rugby games, volleyball tournament, live music and refreshments at noon at City Park. At Park City Mountain base area, enjoy family fun, live music and barbeque, with fireworks at dusk.

Stein Eriksen Lodge

Check out Stein Eriksen Lodge’s annual Fourth of July barbecue. This extravagant spread features an array of classic barbecue favorites from cheeseburgers to brisket, as well as a selection of pasta salads, a watermelon station, barbecue beans, mac and cheese, corn on the cob, a grand dessert display and more. Enjoy Deer Valley on the deck of Stein Eriksen Lodge from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. then head over to Park City Mountain Resort for the fireworks. Call for reservations.
