National Ability Center Hosts Annual Barn Party

The National Ability Center is kicking off summer with its annual, crowd-pleasing Barn Party at 5:30 to 10 p.m. June 3 at the NAC’s Bronfman Family Ranch, Recreation and Education Center. The heel-stomping event celebrates 30 years of adaptive sport programs and 28 years of equestrian programs made possible through the National Ability Center.

The annual Barn Party celebrates NAC staff, volunteers, the successes of participants. Guests can enjoy live music and dancing, savory barbecue by Traeger Grills and Executive Chef Chip McMullin from the St. Regis Deer Valley (ranch  beans, potato salad, corn bread and salad).

There also will be a Western saloon, auction, mechanical bull riding, and kids activities. All proceeds benefit the NAC’s equestrian programming, which gives more than 5,000 children, veterans and families access to adaptive equestrian and other recreational programming through the organization each year.

Tickets are $55 for adults, $45 for individuals 65 and older, $25 for kids, and free for children under age five. A family package (two adults, three kids) is available for $150, as well as discounted tickets for youth and adult NAC participants. Tickets can be purchased here.

Sponsors of this year’s event include: Vail Epic Promise, Zions Bank, Good4Utah, Traeger Grills, EY, Primary Children’s Hospital, Victory Ranch, Del Taco, Industrial Supply, Salt Lake Magazine, Pratt Sound, St. Regis Deer Valley, High West, Red Rock and Swire Coca-Cola.
