Main Street welcomes its newest family-friendly restaurant, Annex, adjacent to No Name Saloon. Diversified Bars and Restaurants currently consists of Boneyard, No Name Saloon, Wine Dive and Butchers Chop House, but has added another restaurant to the group with Annex. Due to Utah bar laws, No Name Saloon cannot welcome children into dine, and thus have opened Annex with the motto “Kids are people too.”
“We’ve had to turn away so many families from No Name through the years. We’re very excited to be able to include kids. We feel Main Street has needed this more and more.”
– Matt Sullivan of Diversified Group
Annex is directly next door to No Name, occupying space that used to be The Club. Originally, the space was the Silver King Restaurant after being built in 1898. Now, the interior has been renovated with a unique blend of details like reclaimed barn wood from Idaho, old basketball floor tops, vintage chandeliers and aircraft navigation lights.
Upstairs at Annex, called The Loft, connects the new space to the mezzanine of No Name through an inside stairway. This will provide more space for patrons over 21. The food menu at Annex will be the same as No Name, with the addition of kid-friendly items like sliders, quesadilla, chicken fingers and corn dogs to start, with a possible menu revamp once they get up and running.
We’re looking forward to having another family-friendly spot on Main Street! See you up there!
