Old Town Cellars Gets Ready to Re-Open

If you’ve been missing your well loved, local winery, you’re in luck. Come mid-August, Old Town Cellars plans to re-open!

After a tragic water-main-burst in the store this spring, the team has been working around the clock to repair the extensive damage to the wine bar and get ready to re-open this summer.

Until then, we know fans are still buying bottles at local state liquor stores to show support. So, why not pair them nicely with various summer foods and outings around town? Here are some suggestions:

Mountain Town Red

Old Town Cellars / OTC
Mountain Town Red is a classic red blend you can’t go wrong with.

This iconic bottle, featuring an old time ski boot, is sourced in California and blended in the Park City mountains. This wine pairs well with a classic burger and hot dog cookout in your backyard, or even a cheese and meat board with ingredients from farmers markets. After a long day of hiking or mountain biking, invite some friends over to refuel and relax. Mountain Town Red has notes of:

  • Plum
  • Violet
  • Wild berry compote

Townie Rosé

Old Town Cellars / OTC

Tasting just like summer in a bottle, Townie Rosé is perfect for a happy hour with friends before enjoying some seafood at a local restaurant. This refreshing bottle is best enjoyed cold, and is perfect after a day in the sun. Sit outside and watch an unbeatable Park City sunset with a good book and glass of Townie Rosé, and you have a lovely evening. Townie Rosé has notes of:

  • Rose petal
  • Red plum

Mountain Town White

Old Town Cellars / OTC

White wine lovers unite! this bottle holds a perfect combination of crisp, sweet and dry, but not too much of either – pairing beautifully with a light pasta or vegetable focused dish. Best enjoyed cold and with lovely company before heading to Canyons Village or Deer Valley for the summer concert installments, running through Labor Day. Mountain Town White has notes of:

  • Lime zest
  • White peach
  • Nectarine
