Time to Gather: Park City’s Group Dining Venues

A few unique options offer various sizes and spaces for private events.

It’s that time of year… The time to gather together to celebrate the people in your life, hopefully with some memorable dishes in special places. Park City offers an outstanding variety of group dining options. With a little advance planning, you can wow your extended family, company, school group or just a bunch of friends.

Inside the yurt at Butcher’s Chop House & Bar

Butcher’s Chop House & Bar has one of the most unusual group dining spaces in town – an outdoor yurt! The round enclosure adjacent to their Historic Park City Main Street location is fully enclosed, heated and has music flowing in from the main dining space. The yurt can host up to 36 people for three hours with an advance reservation. Call 435-647-0040 to book the yurt, and to arrange a special prix fixe menu for your group, based on Butcher’s hearty and comforting menu. Lobster nachos, prime rib roast, New Zealand lamb chops and prime 20 ounce bone-In rib eyes are just some of the choices. All steaks and chops come with two sides. “This is a unique atmosphere, ” says Events Director Jason Yelton.

“Not a lot of people have dined in a yurt!”

Flanagan’s On Main Irish Pub and Restaurant bears the slogan: “Where friends and family gather.” With traditional Irish “fayre,” local and craft beers (including, of course, Guinness), and fine spirits, this rousing atmosphere would be the perfect place to hold a birthday celebration, graduation party or bachelor/bachelorette party. Their VIP room holds 20 people, and includes a bar. Flanagan’s On Main also caters to large groups of 60 or more. Inquire on their web site to get the reservation process started.
