A Big Weekend In Food! Eats At The Arts Festival and Taste Of The Wasatch

It’s a fun filled weekend folks, and there is a lot to be excited for in the wonderful world of food. Today marks the beginning of the annual Kimball Arts Festival, when the streets of downtown Park City shut down and are filled with activities that tantalize all of your senses. On top of that, this Sunday is also Taste Of The Wasatch at Solitude Mountain Resort, an event committed to raising funds to help support efforts to fight hunger in Utah. It will include 50 of Utah’s top chefs, boutique wineries and craft beer as well as live music and a silent auction. Not to mention you’re at Solitude, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Tickets are almost sold out! Get them here. August 2, noon – 4 p.m.

The festival is the Kimball Art Center’s largest fundraiser of the year, and every dollar they receive from admission goes to keep their exhibitions and education programs free to the public all year. In 2015 they have had their highest number of artist applications to date with over 990 applications. In addition to the fantastic art and artists that will be on display, there is also a tasty array of food trucks, a Utah artisan tasting area, as well as collaboration with many local restaurants who will be offering specials throughout the festival.

I know, it’s a lot of information. So let’s break it down and keep it simple.
