If the past few months have found you socializing more at home and made you miss the bar scene, along with creative cocktails, there’s a new bartender in town: you!
The Bartenders Box, created by the Top Shelf Services team, located in Park City, Utah, will bring the fun right to your front door.
We’re really excited about this. It has a lot of potential for socializing in your own bubble. People are socializing in smaller groups now. There are not a lot of people going out to cocktail bars and experimenting with spirits and getting outside of their box.

Top Shelf has specialized in bartending and bar management of small intimate gatherings to large scale festivals since 2008, but with the onset of COVID-19, many events were cancelled the business was heavily impacted. The team got to work looking for creative ways to continue to do what they do best, and in this case, created The Bartenders Box. This unique and interactive mixology experience is the perfect way to entertain, learn, and create memories through cocktails with friends and family, while becoming the bartender for any occasion, at home, or while on vacation.
It’s an easy process to order online. The hard part is choosing your favorite cocktail, for your preferred spirit: vodka, whiskey, tequila, gin, or rum. Note, the The Bartenders Box does not include alcohol, so it’s up to you to pick your poison. Priced at $45 a piece, each box includes everything you need to make at least eight high quality cocktails.

For tequila lovers, The Farmer’s Daughter comes with fresh squeezed lime juice, house pressed pineapple, cucumber and cilantro juices, Tajin to rim your glass, and lime and cilantro to garnish this upgraded classic. For the whiskey connoisseurs, The Old Fashioned Dilemma has all the fixins’ to create the worlds most popular cocktail, three ways, right at home. You purchase your favorite bottle of whiskey and share the flavors of handcrafted spiced Demerara, Angostura bitters, orange bitters, black walnut bitters, maple simple syrup, and orange swath, with your guests.
And as the last of the summer months are upon us, for the vodka lemonade fans, why not take it up a notch with the Mint to be Ginger and its handcrafted mint simple syrup, fresh squeezed lemon juice and house pressed ginger juice. Add a lemon wheel and a mint sprig for garnish and find your favorite place to sit in the sun.
The old fashion comes in all shapes and sizes. This is a way for people to play around with different flavor profiles. The Bartenders Box gives people not only instructions but people can experience and experiment.

To further the experience, the Top Shelf team changes the menu seasonally so keep your eye out for what’s to come in October. They use local purveyors for fresh herbs as often as possible, and along with making fresh squeezed juices and homemade syrups, that last five to seven days, each box includes a recipe card, with online instructional video and information on where to purchase your favorite local spirit. Top Shelf recommends purchasing spirits from one of Utah’s many local distilleries.
