February Events are Still Going Strong

This time of year, it might feel like things are slowing down. But don’t be fooled; there are still plenty of fun happenings in Park City for the rest of the winter. Better yet? Tons of them are happening over the next two weeks.

Below, find a jam packed list of events for whatever you’re into, from cooking classes to custom hat fittings, to après galore.

Guest Haus Juicery

February 16 to 20

High Vibes Juicery & Wellness Bar grand opening and ribbon cutting

High Vibes Juicery & Wellness Bar (formerly Guest Haus) is hosting their official grand opening and ribbon cutting for their second location, inside The Market Park City, on Thursday, Feb. 16. The day will include wellness-focused events, sampling and giveaways and raffle prizes from High Vibes Juicery and other local businesses.

JW Bennett Trunk Show

Join JW Bennett on Friday, Feb. 17 and Sunday, Feb. 20 for a pop-up shopping experience at the Waldorf Astoria, Park City and Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Goldener Hirsch for an intimate hat fitting experience with locally handcrafted hats.

After, be sure to enjoy dinner at Powder in the Waldorf Astoria or at the Goldener Hirsch donning your custom hat.

Deer Valley’s Tailgates & Tacos

Deer Valley is proud to work in conjunction with Diageo Brands and Camp Chef to present the Tailgates & Tacos – a slope activation on the Silver Lake Ski “beach” this Saturday and Sunday, February 18 and 19. On display will be the vintage Don Julio tequila truck and the latest lineup of Camp Chef grills and smokers. DJ Nevermore will be on-sight to provide upbeat entertainment for the venue. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience a full lineup from Don Julio tequilas; showcasing blanco, reposado, añejo, 1942 and Ultima Reserva. In addition, Ketel One vodka and Guinness stout will be available for attendees. Featured cocktails, and promotional pieces from Diageo Brands and Camp Chef will also be available. This is a 21 and over event.

Caputo’s Cheese Cave Tasting Tour at Blue Sky Lodge

On Saturday, Feb. 18 learn about Caputo’s ever-growing affinage program, their mission, and taste the difference for yourself. Spend the evening discussing all things cheese, and affinage. Caputo’s in partnership with the Blue Sky Lodge will provide enough tastes for guests to choose their favorite of the cheesemakers many undertakings. Prepare for a dive into bacteria, fermentation, and general cheese geekery coupled with select wine pairings.

Silver Sky Nights Fireworks at Pendry Park City

Enjoy the beautiful Canyons Village Silver Sky Nights fireworks displays throughout this winter season and this weekend on Saturday, Feb. 18. Head to Pendry’s rooftop Pool House champagne lounge for a perfect view of the show, or explore the festivities in the adjacent forum plaza with live music, family activities, laser light shows and more.

Après Ski with The Nordic Yurt at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center

Kick back by the fireplace and enjoy appetizers, sandwiches, beer and good company on Monday, Feb. 20 at The Nordic Yurt in partnership with Soldier Hollow Nordic Center. No reservations are required for this fun après experience. Wilderness Access Outfitter’s yurt is located right next to the trails so just ski right up.

Deer Valley’s Fire & Ice

Deer Valley is collaborating with Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessey on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 24 and 25 to present the Fire & Ice on-mountain activation on the Silver Lake Ski beach. This event was so well received by attendees last year, that they brought it back for another season! Fire & Ice will feature open wood-fire cauldrons and a 20-foot ice bar. There will be a live DJ on-sight to provide upbeat entertainment for the venue. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the flagship rosé wine from Chateau de Esclans in Provence France and Whispering Angel. Featured cocktails and promotional pieces from Belvedere Vodka will also be available for attendees. This is a 21 and over event.

The Next Course Food & Wine Pairing Class with Chef Deanna at Mountain Town Olive Oil

The Next Course is a tasting class of 3-5 recipes with an optional wine pairing. The Friday, Feb. 24 class will feature a creamy winter white vegetable soup, roasted beet and Brussels sprouts citrus salad, Italian wedding soup, butternut and sage wheatberry salad and a winter fruit salad with Sicilian lemon cream. You will observe as chef Deanna from Deelicious Park City shares new and different ways to use Mountain Town Olive Oil’s and and vinegars, as well as helpful recipe hints.

Night in Italia Cooking Class with Mindful Cuisine

Learn to cook delicious food in a comfortable setting with a spectacular view on Saturday, Feb. 25! Mindful Cuisine has selected a variety of classes from their Prix Fixe and Fundamental Kitchen Skills offerings, and added them to the calendar as public events. You’ll meet new people, create a meal designed by chef Linda, and enjoy restaurant-quality food with your fellow attendees.

The evenings menu will incorporate a variety of classic Italian dishes including stromboli, insalata mista, spaghetti all grigia which is a Roman pasta dish with an olive oil sauce and guanciale, chicken parmigiana, and vanilla budino with caramel sauce and sea salt. If they are not already among your favorites, they will be after you try them!
