New Indian Restaurant in Park City

We always get excited when a new restaurant comes to town, especially one that’s tried and true. Ganesh Indian Cuisine opened its first restaurant in 2007 in Midvale and Ganesh Park City is the owner’s third location and is now open for business.

Ganesh began with the desire to serve fresh and authentic Indian food at a very reasonable price. With traditional recipes and only the highest quality ingredients, Ganesh gained popularity and the owner believes the quality of their cuisine is truly tasted in their dishes.

Their extensive menu includes a variety of classical Indian options as well as some specialty dishes. Favorites include the chicken coconut corma and the chicken tikka masala, a popular Indian dish made with chicken breast meat barbecued in a tandoor oven, then cooked with garlic, ginger, tomatoes, cream and spices. Also notable, they had five types of naan on the menu (yep) as well as other bread options including paratha (bread grilled in a pan), roti (bread baked in an oven) and poori (bread deep-fried in oil). Despite all that bread, they also have many gluten free and vegetarian options.

I think Ganesh is on to something because with so many intriguing dishes on the menu – you’ll have to visit again and again to try them all. Ganesh serves wine and beer and is serving lunch daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m to 10 p.m.
