New Summer Menu at Zoom

A while back, we introduced you to Zoom’s chef Jordan Harvey, who after making his way around many of our country’s culinary hot spots, landed at Zoom and is adding his own delicious twist to its iconic Western, comfort-style food. Influenced by his travels and his cooking experience, chef Harvey is definitely not afraid to add a bit of flare to the menu. Zoom has a fantastic new menu this summer, and there is literally nothing on the menu I did not love.

So let’s dive in.

To start, aside from their classics such as their buffalo onion rings, wood-grilled artichokes, and truffled mac ‘n cheese, these new additions are available for lunch and dinner:

Salmon Flatbread – house cured Gravlax, house made naan, crispy kale

Mexican Style Corn Elotes – miso aoili, queso fresco, cilantro, chile

Or if you’re there for dinner, you can also enjoy a charcuterie board as an appetizer.

Artisan Charcuterie board – cured local meats, Utah cheeses, honeycomb

For their salad courses, from the classic Caesar to chicken and kale, there is something for everyone. For those looking for something light and fresh, try the heirloom tomato and watermelon salad. Literally, the perfect summer salad. For those looking for something more like an entree salad, go for the salmon salad.

Heirloom Tomato and Watermelon – cucumber, shallot, kalamata olive, dill, basil, oregano, feta cheese, citrus vinaigrette

Salmon Salad – gem lettuce, cherry tomato, cucumber, radish, avocado, fennel, shoestring potatoes, malt and herb vinaigrette

If it were lunch time, you’d then be moving into the sandwiches and entrees.

Falafel – Falafel patty, baba ganoush, pickled onion, cucumber, sprouts, tomato, multi grain ciabatta

Behold, the Big John Burger – beef patty, fried chicken, remoulade, american cheese, lettuce, tomato, slaw

Hanger Steak and Frites – mushrooms, green peppercorn sauce (available for lunch and dinner)

Onto the dinner entrees such as their famous Tomahawk Pork Chop, Five Spiced Braised Short Rib, Baby Back Pork Ribs, and much, much more:

Roasted Chicken Breast – dirty farro, roasted vegetables, herb chicken jus

Pan Seared Halibut – dumplings, roasted fennel, tomato confit, yellow borscht, watercress

No meal is complete without dessert, and at Zoom, the desserts by chef Callie Varner are divine and perfect to take a break from the heat with.
